Polylooks expands its European-focussed portfolio, widening choice for digital image customers

London, England and Bonn, Germany, February 25, 2010 - Polylooks, Deutsche Telekom's online photo agency, and microstock content syndication site iSyndica have teamed up to help photographers better manage their microstock contributions. iSyndica is a Web-based service which enables photographers worldwide to swiftly and easily upload their images and manages the syndication and distribution of those images across a range of well-known online microstock agencies.

By partnering with iSyndica, Polylooks aims to attract more photographers from across Europe to help the site further strengthen and expand its portfolio of high-quality stock photography.

iSyndica is used by photographers worldwide and will enable Polylooks to better access contributors from new territories to provide high-quality royalty free images. Currently, Polylooks operates in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the United Kingdom and the platform is available in German and English.

2009 has been a fun year for iSyndica. Think of it as jumping into the pool at 6 in the morning during the Winter. It’s -20 degrees outside and still dark. You don’t stay still for long and quickly start swimming because everything around tells you to. We’ve moved from doing just photography, to recently introducing audio, our now fourth category. An interesting anecdote is that, unlike previous categories, we’ve had people inquire about audio – both users and agencies – before launching it. This was something to cheer about.
